For over twenty five years I have watched Rob hone his skills, first as live sound engineer, then as studio producer and recording engineer. I can testify to his abilities in capturing excellent sound reproductions in a variety of combinations (vocals, acoustic and electric instruments) and creating quality sound from his studio equipment, equipment he has upgraded regularly. He has a keen ear for editing and an uncanny ability to identify and eradicate the slightest blip or mysterious noise (often unheard by me). Add in the fact that he is a musician himself and you have someone who intuitively understands what other musicians are searching for in a recording and a willingness to follow their ideas and whims, in short a master craftsman of sound.

Rob has recorded, mixed and produced three albums for us. He has an amazing set of ears and boundless patience. He takes the raw material and produces something better. I suppose the best accolade I can give is from our fans who say that they can "put the CD on and it is like we are in the room with them live”, which is exactly the brief he had.
